you are awesome!
You are awesome.
One of my favourite posts on this blog is also the shortest one.
All it says is that all people crave acknowledgement and that we should give it away – as often as possible.
Today I want to acknowledge you.
You are amazing!
If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have the motivation to write – which is a great gift!
Every day, you wake up and from the moment you wake up, you give your best.
I mean, come on, living your life really must take a lot of effort.
All the things you do, all the balls you keep in the air.
You take care of the people around you. Thank you so much for this!
I can’t emphasize enough how important it is, that people like you make the world a tiny bit better every day,
being that unique contribution that you are.
Small acts matter.
Changing the world starts with picking up a gum-wrapper 😉
When you smile, the world shines.
Photo’s might make you self-conscious, but don’t worry, others can see you for who you really are.
At times you might compare yourself to others, it is so easy these days, people are doing all this crazy stuff
and what you do might seem small in comparison.
Don’t do that to yourself.
Comparing yourself to others is a sure-shot recipe to feeling discontent.
You are perfect, just the way you are.
Maybe your behavior is not always in line with what you really want.
But that doesn’t give you the right to put yourself down as a person.
You have this incredible skillset.
Stuff that really sets you apart from the rest.
I used to be trapped in this vicious cycle of self-repair.
Tim Ferriss puts it best:
“Focus on better use of your best weapons instead of constant self-repair.”
The internet is jam-packed with stories from good people that have overcome their fears and barriers to chase their dreams and you can use their wisdom to achieve your goals much, much faster.
Be patient with yourself.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and nothing good is easy.
But you are special, and you can do it.
If I can believe in you, why shouldn’t you?
You are an awesome person and you deserve to be happy and you make this huge difference for the people around you.
You are a gift.
And this is just my opinion.
But if you have a negative opinion about yourself, this too, is just another opinion.
